Adush’s workshop that connects you to Ethiopian cuisine with the most colorful and wonderful fusion.
“My encounter with Ethiopian cuisine happened when I was 14. I visited my friend Eskader Mogs at her house in Talpiot, Jerusalem. I remember that I was already hungry from the stairwell. When I entered her house, my hunger intensified and I asked for food. Her mother immediately offered me a plate with injera (which looked like flatbread to me) and on top of meat or chicken with a bright color and an amazing aroma. I finished the plate so fast and asked for more. Later, I married a half-Ethiopian, half-English guy and his amazing family long ago became my family, and thanks to them I got to know a wealth of colors, flavors, aromas and connections.
I have a strong desire to connect the Ethiopian cuisine that I love so much to the cuisine of Adush. I set out on my journey to Ethiopian cuisine and, as in every workshop I have built, I slowly refined a little more and more how I want to convey to you my love for the cuisine and these amazing dishes.”
