From the Heart to the Plate: A Meal of Flavors, Memories, & People
Kibbutz Beit HaEmek
We all have that one dish that transports us back to a specific moment in our lives—a scent from Grandma’s kitchen, a taste of childhood, a family meal, or a single bite that brings a loved one to mind. Adi invites you to a unique, personal culinary experience—an intimate gathering of up to 12 participants at her home in Kibbutz Beit HaEmek. Together, we will enjoy a rich 12-course meal, crafted from your stories and memories and interpreted through her culinary lens.
Before the event, Adi will send each participant a short questionnaire, inviting you to share a dish that evokes a particular emotion or memory. Based on your contributions, she will curate the menu, weaving in her own flavors and personal touches to create a meal where every dish tells a story.
We will gather around a festive, abundant table with cocktails and wine. Through these dishes and the stories behind them, we will get to know one another, share moving moments, laugh, and discover how food can open the heart and bring people closer together.
This is an invitation to bring a memory along, rediscover it on your plate, and give it a place at our shared table. At the end, you will receive a recipe booklet featuring dishes from the meal, allowing you to bring a piece of the experience into your own kitchen.
Adi Shmuel is a baker, cook, and host. She loves people and food and, above all, the connection that forms when they gather around a single table.
Price: 430 NIS per person, including a fascinating session, workshop, meal, and recipe booklet to take home.
