Miriam Aik, who was born and raised in Acre, always dreamed of living in an old house with large windows. Her dream came true about 22 years ago when her brother bought an ancient house in Akko and invited her to live there. Since then, Miriam has owned, managed and nurtured the home with incredible talent. Jimmy Aik, a native of Akko who now lives in Switzerland, is the set designer at the Geneva Opera and is responsible for the impressive ceiling painting in the main space of the house.
Miriam’s kitchen is well known in Akko.
You are welcome to visit Miriam’s home and experience Akko for all its wonders.
The large space of the house is now used to host families and groups, who are interested in tasting Miriam’s dishes, hearing her stories and attending Miriam’s cooking workshops.
Yasmine house offers accommodation in the shared house or accommodation in a private suite on a separate floor.
