Welcome to Beit HaMalabi, where flavor, tradition, and a personal story come together to create an extraordinary culinary experience.
How did it all begin? Beit HaMalabi was born from an old dream that had been tucked away for years. It was a dream that first captured my heart when I was 15: to show the world what malabi could truly be.
I grew up in a home filled with love, laughter, and the irresistible aromas of traditional Middle Eastern cooking. Our door was always open, our extended family was large and lively, and the kitchen was the beating heart of the home. Three grandmothers shaped my childhood, teaching me not only the secrets of cooking, but also the values I carry with me to this day: generosity, creativity, and love for everything you do.
A tradition that brought a dream to life
Grandmother Hamda taught me the secrets of achieving the perfect texture. Grandmother Sheikha showed me how to create a silky, beautifully set malabi, and Grandmother Noukha shared the secret of the perfect syrup: delicate, refreshing, and just sweet enough.
But life, like any good recipe, takes time to come together. I traveled a long and challenging road. I got married, raised three sons, and faced difficulties that pushed me to reinvent myself. Then, in a moment of clarity, I remembered that old dream and decided it was finally time to make it a reality.
And so, Beit HaMalabi was born.
Malabi that opens doors and hearts
Beit HaMalabi is much more than a dessert. It is an experience. We serve gourmet malabi that combines traditional techniques with uncompromising ingredients. Every ingredient is carefully selected, and every serving is made with love, just as my grandmothers taught me.
Our malabi is a journey of flavors:
A milk-and-cream base that creates a wonderfully smooth texture.
A distinctive rosewater syrup that is delicate, balanced, and never overly floral or heavy.
Unique toppings such as fresh pistachios, toasted coconut, a natural mixed-berry blend, and more.
Our menu also features special variations such as Layali Beirut and Souk El Leil, alongside other desserts including reduced-sugar halva and mini qatayef pancakes filled with vanilla cream and pistachios.
Recognition along the way
Beit HaMalabi has received widespread recognition:
It has been named the best malabi in Israel by leading food critics.
It was selected to participate in prestigious culinary festivals, including “Women in Culinary” at Sarona Market.
It reached the finals of the television show “The Perfect Dessert.”
Beit HaMalabi is proof that dreams can come true and that every challenge can become an opportunity. Here, every dish tells a story: a story of tradition, love, and new beginnings.
We invite you to join us on this journey and experience malabi in a way you never have before.
Welcome to Beit HaMalabi, where a small dessert becomes an unforgettable experience.
