The story session is accompanied by authentic black coffee and, of course, a tasting of her signature, artisanal malabi.
The Vision & Craft Behind the House of Malabi
“I am a creator at heart,” Tina shares. “To make the House of Malabi truly reflect who I am, I chose to build it with my own hands – from the interior design to the physical renovation.
For an entire year, as soon as my children were asleep, I stayed up working late into the night to bring my dream to life.
Over time, the House of Malabi has evolved, but its core spirit remains unchanged. My message to people across the country is one of connection, unity, and love.
If my grandmothers could overcome their challenges, so can each of us. I believe that we are all on a short journey here, and ultimately, we all want to live well and live together.
I am blessed to be in a place that embodies this harmony. The House of Malabi represents a space that embraces diversity and variation – symbolized by its dominant turquoise tone – reminding us that under the open sky, anything is possible.”
