Nestled in the heart of the ancient and picturesque village of Tarshiha, Tupelo is a dedicated wheat-free bakery and café. Founded by partners in life and business Vered Baer (originally from Kibbutz Gesher HaZiv, with many years spent in the US) and Murad Bishara (a Tarshiha local), the couple met
Inspired by Vered’s sister, who has celiac disease, their vision was to create a welcoming space where celiac diners, vegans, and those avoiding gluten could indulge in a delicious, worry-free culinary experience.
Bakery & Culinary Offerings
Tupelo offers an abundant selection of freshly baked wheat-free and gluten-free goods, including artisanal breads, cakes, cookies, savory quiches, sandwiches, and pizzas. Guests can enjoy these treats on-site in the sweet, plant-filled courtyard or pack them to go for a local B&B getaway or home enjoyment.
