Spectacular Cavern of the Adamit Park Ridge

Keshet Cave (also known as Rainbow or Arch Cave) is one of Galilee's premier natural wonders. Featuring a massive limestone arch over a shallow cavern, it offers striking views and serves as a popular hub for extreme sports enthusiasts rappelling down to the cave floor below.
The view from the top of the arch is breathtaking and is found up against the Israel-Lebanon border, just a few kilometers from Rosh HaNikra and the warm Mediterranean Sea.
Geological Formation & Historical Evolution
Originally a fully enclosed karst cave formed millions of years ago, Keshet Cave transformed into its modern configuration through continuous geological dissolution and seismic activity. Over millennia, the roof of the cavern collapsed, leaving behind only a massive, freestanding limestone arch that bridges the abyss.
Accessibility & Visitor Information
Located within the Adamit Park nature reserve, the site features a fully paved, wheelchair- and stroller-accessible trail leading directly from the parking area to the cliff edge lookout points. Visitors can enjoy shaded picnic areas, panoramic vistas over the Western Galilee coastline, and easy connection to neighboring hiking routes across the Adamit Ridge.
