Safta (Grandma) Maha, from the beautiful Druze village of Hurfeish, is renowned for her exceptional culinary skills. Several years ago, she decided to blend her two passions - cooking and hospitality.
Since then, Maha and her husband Amir have welcomed numerous groups from Israel and across the world into their home, situated at the edge of the village.
On clear days, guests are treated to a royal feast served on a terrace overlooking a breathtaking panoramic view of the Galilee, paired with the inspiring story of her remarkable life.
In recent times, Safta Maha brings these cherished flavors and authentic stories directly to you.
Interactive Culinary Workshop & Dining
An extraordinary hands-on experience where you will learn to prepare traditional delicacies of Druze cuisine and enjoy an authentic Druze-style meal.
Safta Maha will guide you step-by-step through signature dishes, including maqluba, mujaddara, shulbato, homemade hummus, fresh tabbouleh salad, and more.
