Opened in December 2020, Beit Elfarasha is housed in a beautifully restored Ottoman-era building nestled in a picturesque alley in the heart of Old Akko, just steps from the Mediterranean Sea and a minute's walk from the historic Old Sea Wall.

On the ground level, a modern, fully equipped kitchen hosts interactive cooking workshops alongside a charming reception room for cultural events.

The first floor features two spacious, beautifully designed guest rooms, while the top-floor rooftop terrace boasts a large open-air balcony with panoramic sea views – offering the perfect spot to relax, take in the sea breeze, and soak up the unique atmosphere of this historic coastal city.

Cathy Raff

Our initiative is based on two main ideas: First, to empower local women in Akko, most of whom are housewives. Second, the cooking workshops conducted by local women are an opportunity to get to know more closely the daily life and lifestyle and customs of the locals in Old Akko.
