First Steps in Natural Pharmacy – A Parent-Child Workshop with Tamara Herbs
In Honor of International Children’s Day
Hanita

Spend quality time creating, connecting with nature, and making discoveries together. Take a break from your daily routine, bring your child along, and experience the joy of crafting natural products with your own hands.
Join us at Tamara Herbs’ production center and flagship store in Kibbutz Hanita for a journey into the world of natural apothecary — exploring scents, textures, plants, and raw natural ingredients.
The workshop will be led by Tamara Kuperstein, founder and owner of Tamara Herbs, who has been working in the field of natural pharmacy for over 20 years. Tamara combines Western medicinal herb knowledge with Ayurvedic healing traditions, bridging ancient wisdom with the modern world.
What will we do together?
We’ll begin with a warm welcome, light refreshments, and an introduction to Tamara’s story and Tamara Herbs.
Then, working together as parent and child, we’ll learn how to turn raw natural ingredients into useful home products. During the workshop, we will create 2–3 simple natural products. Children will actively participate—mixing, smelling, creating, and discovering.
At the end, each parent-child pair will take home the products they made, along with a recipe sheet. (For those who wish to continue the experience at home, raw materials will be available for purchase on-site.)
Price: 300 NIS per pair (parent and child). This includes the workshop and instruction, a welcome reception with light refreshments, a personal story shared by Tamara, the 2–3 natural products created during the session, and a recipe sheet.
Notes: The workshop is suitable for parents and children aged 7 and up. Children must be accompanied by their parents and remain under their parents’ responsibility throughout the workshop. Space is limited.
