An iconic symbol of the city, the historic eight-sided Nahariya Water Tower was originally built for agricultural irrigation and has since been repurposed into a vibrant municipal cultural landmark.
Reopened to the public in 2003 following a collaborative restoration initiative by the Nahariya Municipality, Mifal Hapayis, the Council for Conservation of Heritage Sites in Israel, and the Rotary Club, the site operates as a municipal art gallery.
It hosts a rotating schedule of contemporary art exhibitions alongside educational lectures and community workshops spanning music, theater, and fine arts.
