Spanning 21 acres in northern Akko, this garden showcases diverse Mediterranean flora, including plant species from the Atlas Mountains, Iberian forests, Canary Islands, and Israel's coastal and Negev regions.
Designed as a living showcase of Mediterranean climate flora, the park groups specimens by region of origin. Visitors can stroll through tailored habitats containing drought-resistant desert species, dense coastal scrub, sub-alpine Atlas flora, and rare Macaronesian endemic plant life, offering an educational overview of regional ecology.
Park Amenities & Family Activities
The park includes attractions for the whole family: playgrounds, hiking trails, observation points, seating areas, and a water fountain, with wide and comfortable paths that are paved. Designed with full accessibility in mind, the paved trail system seamlessly links scenic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding Galilee landscape with shaded rest areas and interactive play spaces.
