The Shrine of Baháʼu’lláh and the Gardens surrounding it, collectively known as “Bahji”, are re-opening to the general public as of October 2025.
The misrepresentation of Bahjí, which is the holiest site for the Bahá’í community worldwide, as primarily a tourist site has now been corrected, and the sanctity of the Bahjí site has been reaffirmed. This issue, for which the site was closed, has been resolved. Therefore, Bahjí will reopen to visitors, for guided tours and self-guided tours, starting in October.
You can sign up for guided tours and view Bahjí’s opening hours on the website.
As is customary in all Baha’i sites open to the general public, admission is free.
