Basma Hino, the owner of the Noor Restaurant, is a woman of great strength and mental fortitude. Her husband, Marcel, was injured and killed in an operational activity during his reserve service. Her son, Noor, was born 4 months after the injury and the restaurant is named after him.

The stylish restaurant provides the unique experience of a lavish meal in the heart of a Druze village. The cuisine is based on traditional home cooking; the raw ingredients come from local crops and the local butcher, and the vegetables are grown in the village or its surroundings.
