Omanya Leather Studio

In Kibbutz Afek, in the heart of a green and peaceful environment, operates the Omanya Studio ― a live workshop for creating leather, founded and led by the artist Eldad Bahar. It is a space for handmade creation, a different rhythm, and a real connection to natural raw materials and traditional handicrafts. The studio hosts experiential workshops for creating with leather, suitable for children, families, couples, groups, and organizations. During the workshop, participants are exposed to professional leather working techniques and learn to transform raw materials into useful and personal products ― such as bracelets, wallets, belts, bags, cases, sandals, masks, and more, each according to their choice. The studio also serves as an experiential visitor center, to order custom-made works, and even to stock up on tools and raw materials for those interested in continuing to create independently ― with professional guidance and advice. Omanya offers a pleasant and relaxed experience: a pastoral environment, ample parking, a warm family atmosphere, a cup of coffee, and personal attention to each guest. On weekends, group workshops can be booked by prior arrangement.
