Coffee & Musical Pipes

The only organ workshop of its kind in Israel operates in the community of Yuvalim. It serves as both a workshop and a visitor center, housing a variety of organs built by the late Gideon Shamir and Uri Shani.

Uri Shani, the workshop’s owner, invites you to a “Coffee & Musical Pipes” event. The session includes a welcome reception with hot and cold beverages, a tour of the various instruments, and an artist’s presentation. You will hear organ music and learn about the instrument’s history, its mechanics, its origins, and its connection to Uri’s personal story.

Price: 80 NIS per person (includes the welcome reception).

Early Bird Price: 60 NIS for those who register by Wednesday, October 7, at 11 pm (payment in cash on-site).

Uri came from the field of theater where he worked as a director, teacher, lecturer, actor and musical editor. He also worked in theater setting.

The Organ Workshop

Workshop and Visitor Center, Lectures and Artist Encounters

The Yuvalim Organ Workshop is the only place in Israel where organs are built, restored, and maintained. The workshop is used for repair and restoration work, while the visitor center features organs of various sizes and types. During a visit to the visitor center, you can enjoy a demonstration concert featuring some of the finest compositions written for the organ over the years. The workshop walls are decorated with photographs, informational displays, and antique organ pipes that highlight the authentic charm of the place. Each organ and its pipes has a unique historical story of its own. The center hosts groups and organizes cultural tourism events.
