9 am – 10:30 am Breakfast + Explanation & Tour of the Rom Farm in Kammon
The Rom Farm, located on Mount Kammon with a gorgeous Galilean view, offers a Galilean breakfast in the unique bistro that offers a rich menu based on the farm’s produce.
The Rom Farm is a protected enterprise that employs dozens of hardworking people in vegetable gardens, succulent workshops, wood workshops, and more. Breakfast will be accompanied by a tour and an explanation of the farm.
10:30 am – 11 am Drive to Gilon
11 am – 12:30 pm Creative Upcycling Workshop with the Artist Paula Rykin at the Tin-Time Studio in Gilon
You are invited to step out of the box in a colorful, aesthetic, and entertaining studio with a beautiful Galilean view in Paula Rykin’s home, listen to her story, and experience an artistic creation based on recycled materials, known as upcycle art in the professional language.

1:30 pm – 3 pm Chocolate Workshop with Shlomit Zamir at the Odette Boutique in Regba
A handmade chocolate and praline boutique founded by Dr. Shlomit Zamir, an engineer who decided to dedicate herself to the development of another material – chocolate. In the chocolate boutique, you will experience a unique chocolate workshop under professional supervision, with each one leaving with a box full of handmade chocolates.
3 pm – 3:30 pm Drive to Ya’ara
3:30 pm – 5 pm Ruti & Gili Hospitality From the Heart in Ya’ara
A home accommodation complex with a personal touch. In the beautiful home of Ruti and Gili in Ya’ara, enjoy a homemade meal with a focus on quality raw materials from the Galilee, taste homemade food on the purity of the couscous, steaming pea soup and more (kosher meat/vegan) on a full stomach, listen to the exciting stories of Ruti and Gili about the fulfillment of their dreams.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
