Women of all kinds. “The female figures I sculpt are created with immense love for us, for women, and for our mature bodies, which have the power to create life. Women emerging, being born, twisting and turning. Women who are joyful, who love themselves, who are grateful, who embrace their bodies and celebrate life.” Yael discovered her love for sculpture relatively late in life. According to her, the seeds had been planted within her since childhood, but only began to sprout and flourish in her forties. She started sculpting on her own, teaching herself little by little. As demand for her work grew, she continued to develop and hone her craft. Today, she sells her sculptures and teaches sculpture classes.
Yael’s studio, located in a lush, peaceful corner of Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk, is a place of love and acceptance. The soft natural light, magnificent trees visible through the studio’s large windows, unique design, and Yael’s welcoming smile all create a nurturing setting for an immersive and reflective creative process.
Yael offers ongoing classes as well as one-time introductory workshops, including the “Woman Sculpting Woman” workshop, a unique and empowering experience for women in which each participant creates and takes home her own sculpture of a female figure.
Yael’s sculptures can be purchased at her studio by prior appointment, as well as at the Studio 17 art gallery in Haifa’s Talpiot Market.
