Come get a glimpse into the magical world of ancient leather craftsmanship. Join an open artisan workshop for free-form leather creation, guided by professional leather artist Eldad Bahar, in the pleasant atmosphere of his air-conditioned studio in Kibbutz Afek.
Together, we will create stunning, unique leather goods tailored to your personal taste — from designer bags, belts, wallets, and sandals to cases and sheaths for any purpose.
We will employ a variety of techniques, combining professional traditional hand tools with modern, efficient machinery.
We will select the ideal material for your project, prepare patterns, and learn to cut, punch, glue, stitch, tool, and dye the leather — while paying close attention to the finishing touches.
*The workshop runs every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout October, by prior appointment.
Price: 295 NIS per person (includes professional instruction, materials, tools, and a high-quality finished product)
