An Experiential Cultural & Culinary Tour in Honor of Women’s Day with Galiloka

In honor of “Women’s Day” Galiloka invites you to go on an exciting and unusual journey.

An exclusive boutique tour in the heart of the Galilee, combining culinary, culture, nature, and adrenaline.

A Little About Us:

Galiloka specializes in boutique food tours in the Galilee and Carmel.

Tours that are led through local eyes, love for people, and a constant search for the small and special places.

During the tour we will get a close look at the unique culinary and cultural features in the spectacular mosaic of the Galilee and we will embark on a journey that combines flavors, textures, stories and adrenaline deeply rooted in the local Galilee scene.

The Tour Route:

• Stop 1: We will start the morning in a magical house in a tiny village. There we will meet a guy who dared to stop the race for a moment, left the high-tech world, and chose low-tech and makes boutique cheeses in his home, in a breathtaking place. We will stay at his home, hear his personal and moving story, and taste a selection of boutique cheeses made by him that are made with passion, precision, and love.
• Stop 2: We will continue to a secret bakery, just like before. No sign, no name, no Instagram. A bakery owned by a grandmother and her granddaughter, who work together and prepare traditional pastries every morning in a hot wood-fired oven. The smell of trees wafting through the air, a taste that brings back childhood, and a secret that only the locals know.
• Stop 3: We will stay at the home of a local family, get a close look at the Galilean way of life and get to know the tradition that has developed in the modern era while tasting the handiwork of a veteran of the generation.
• Stop 4: We will continue to the scented candle workshop. We will stay in the beautiful home of the resident of the village, an intimate and inspiring space, and we will take part in an experiential and professional workshop to create scented and designed candles by hand.
• Stop 5: After the creative adventure we will arrive at the home of a local cook, for a rich, hot, and indulgent lunch. Real Galilean cuisine, full of flavors, and generosity.
• Stop 6: A sweet ending at a magical Italian restaurant that is a well-kept secret of the locals. An intimate, small place as if taken from Italy.
