Monday, February 24, 10 am -1 pm, Lohamei HaGeta’ot
Join us for an inspiring and unique tour of the Galilee with Styling Therapy Host Orna Rothbert Nitzan!
The clothes we choose are much more than the fabrics we wear – they are a tool for expressing ourselves and our inner story. So what does a garment convey? How do we connect with it? What is difficult for us to take out of the closet? And which garment requires courage from us?
Join me on a fascinating journey where we will discover these questions, and explore styles, colors, and cuts while discussing sustainability, recycling, and protecting the environment.
We will meet at Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, and start the day with coffee and pastries from the Coron Patisserie. After that, we will continue with a personal introduction and an enriching meeting with Styling Therapy, where we will talk about the world of second-hand, vintage, fashion, and above all – about the way styling affects our inner feelings.
After the talk, we will visit the iron wire craftsman Koby Sibony, a graduate of Bezalel, in his new studio in the Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot. After that, we will visit two secondhand stores, and enjoy everything we internalized and experienced. This is an opportunity to delve deeper, play with the clothes and accessories, and experiment with a new style while learning about the culture of sustainability and recycling.
Looking forward to seeing you on this journey!
