Along with the well-known market and sites in Old Akko, there is a weave of charming alleys that are usually only visited by locals. The tour with the guide Omri Avidar will reveal a different and unconventional Akko to you. We will enter the back alleys and the lesser-known corners of Akko and discover a magical and spectacular world.
This is a tour with an emphasis on art and crafts in the city and the great changes that have taken place in it lately. Take out the cameras and prepare your heart for the beautiful and colorful sights in front of you.
On the Program:
The tour will begin with a brief explanation of the history of Akko. Afterward, we will visit the gallery alley located in the old city, enter the galleries with an overseas atmosphere with spectacular and original products. We will continue and arrive as a magic headquarters in a colorful alley taken as if from the legends of an extraordinary Akko artist who in recent years has taken care to bring art and color into the back alleys of the city. We will go for a spectacular view of the sea and enjoy the breeze. We will get to know an ancient neighborhood bakery that has been operating there for centuries. We will talk to the owner and taste the special pitas he bakes. We will continue to a stone masonry workshop that deals with the preservation of buildings and “talks” with the stones. We will understand the complexity of the construction and preservation of the stone houses in the city and even see a demonstration of stonemasonry. Finally, we will enter a spectacular Akko house that has been renovated and turned into a charming guest palace. We will get to know one of the family members, from whom we will hear about life inside the walls and about the relationship between the neighbors from the various communities.

The trip is suitable for all ages. The length of the route is about 1.5 km
