Orly Coffler from Studio Oroca says that creating a piece of jewelry from scratch drives the deepest layers of our being. It is firstborn in our mind’s eye and then translated with the help of fire magic into an object. An object that contains an idea: a symbol, shape, gemstone, and more. An object made by hand has life in it. The desire to express ourselves is not expressed in the industrialized and fast-paced world in which we live, our voice is lost, we have moved away from our ability to connect to our emotions and the inner self that was once a child, curious and dreaming. We were born to feel and experience the world out of love. There is a very strong connection between love and creativity Because once we create we love ourselves. You are welcome to join a jewelry creation workshop using a flattening technique. The workshop includes work with tin numbers and flattening using multiple techniques. The workshop is suitable for 3 participants for about two hours.
“I remember myself as a child – I loved to draw and create objects from materials I had at home. So, throughout my adult years, I craved free creation, touching materials, and experiencing the magic of inspiration. Thus, in parallel with family life and work, I studied goldsmithing at WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education and began to develop working methods and designs that have my personal stamp.”
