Between the months of December and April, Nohad Bisan holds foraging workshops and experiential meals in nature. In the workshop, we will learn to identify plants, forage wild spinach, chicory, garden peas, and childhood plants such as hollyhocks and chrysanthemums, as well as prepare our meals in nature. A variety of salads and fatayer stuffed with spinach and za’atar or fennel, combined with spices from Druze cuisine. At the end of the workshop, we will sit down for a meal with all the family and friends. There is an option to choose whether to go foraging in nature and return to the workshop on the balcony of the house or continue to hold the workshop in the family’s orchard (estate) where olive trees and spice plants grow that overlook the green and picturesque landscape.
The workshop is intended for 2-15 people. The duration of the activity is two to three hours. Must be arranged a week in advance.
