Akko Port is one of the oldest working ports in the world and its activity is woven into the development of global trade, from ancient times till today. During the Crusaders’ rule over Akko, the port became crucial to the evolving trade relations between different countries in the world. The Middle East’s door to the entire West was based on trade through this port, and so during the Crusades, large shipyards and storage areas for goods and equipment were built as well as inns and lodges for pilgrims and merchants coming or leaving through the port. During the Ottoman empire, fishing boats docked in the port as they do today. Walking along the port reveals views of beaches, working fishermen, church towers and different structures of the city.
A chef restaurant in Akko, combining European and local Akko cuisine. The Chef likes to combine different cooking styles and play with flavors and inspirations. The result is a variety of savory dishes. A great combination of local and European cuisines with fresh sea ingredients and raw materials.
