At the beginning of the activity, Sharon tells and explains about the ancient printing technology of a pattern using the sun, the explanation is accompanied by a presentation of an explanation and examples from ancient history about the technique from the 18th century, a technique of copying light and shadow with the help of the sun.
In the workshop, a light-sensitive solution is mixed, the solution is applied to the raw material: types of paper, wood, textiles, and compositions of selected objects from nature/special transparencies from the studio/words of empowerment are placed, etc. And a surprise gift!
Sharon Neuman Talker, a multidisciplinary designer and graduate from Shenkar, lives in Kibbutz Beit HaEmek with her partner and their four children. When they built their house, Sharon began to use special printing techniques to create all the works that decorate the walls of their home. This creation led her to fulfill an old dream and open a pleasant studio where she can teach others how to make and design creations with their unique fingerprint while paying attention to aesthetics and beauty.
