The Shahar Estate is a picturesque property located in the heart of the ecological village of Clil, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and touching the wild nature of the Yehi’am River. Here you can take a break from everyday life and experience sunrises and sunsets among olive groves and a unique natural forest. The estate has three stone houses built from ancient local stone. Each house has two bedrooms, a living room, a dining area, a fireplace for the winter, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower/bathtub (some houses have air conditioning for use in the summer during the hot hours), and spacious balconies overlooking a spectacular, quiet and special Galilean view.
The complex works on an ecological method based on solar electricity.
The buildings of the houses allow you to share your vacation with those closest to your heart in the separate rooms that allow privacy and in the common spaces, which allow a meeting and a good place to be together. In the center of the complex, there is a wonderful shared pool (in the summer season) overlooking the Yehi’am River.
The place is suitable for accommodation for couples, families, and groups. Also suitable for events (small and quiet) and workshops.
Hagit Lidror from the town of Clil, turned her love of cooking into a profession and shares her knowledge with anyone who wishes to learn. Hagit always says, “I have no secrets. Everything is open to anyone who wants to know!”
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
