Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum

Founded by survivors and resistance fighters who settled in the Western Galilee to build Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, the museum embodies the vision of its creators to rebuild their lives in the State of Israel while preserving history.

Exhibits & Narrative Focus

The primary museum documents the history of the Holocaust during World War II, placing special emphasis on human bravery, spiritual resistance, and the resilience of survivors and ghetto fighters. Through its historical displays, the institution chronicles both the tragedy of the Holocaust and the subsequent rebuilding efforts of the survivor community.

Yad Layeled Children’s Memorial Museum

Established on the grounds in 1995, the Yad Layeled Children’s Memorial Museum commemorates the one and a half million Jewish children who perished in the Holocaust. Designed specifically for young visitors, this dedicated wing offers an age-appropriate, experiential journey into the lives of children during that era.
