Banahala is an ideal place for small and medium-sized events. The restaurant is spectacular in its beauty, located in the heart of a pecan tree plantation and surrounded by impressive vegetation. A varied menu with the utmost care for the highest quality natural ingredients. You can celebrate your event in a private room designed for 10-100 diners and in addition, there is an option to enjoy your own private area and close the restaurant for the event. You can host up to 100 guests inside or up to 200 guests in the outside area.
A place for screening is available and of course a kosher menu for groups.
It all started at the Fridman family’s old property, an agricultural farm from Nahariya’s early years, an old chicken coop that stood motionless in the heart of the plantation, covered with thick vegetation. Ron Fridman managed to convince his partner Edith to give up their life in the center of the country and come to breathe new life in the place where he grew up, his brother Ziv joined and the rest is history!
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
