Located at Kibbutz Yehiam at the foot of the fortress, is Artist Dalit Ben-Shalom’s studio of mosaic and sculpting.
The studio was once a hall used to dry tobacco leaves and today it’s a colorful space with a variety of items and decorative statues made of pieces of clay, ceramics and mirrors. Right at the studio’s entrance you are welcomed by colorful mosaic statues, planted among the trees in the grove.
Dalit teaches a large group of regular students at her studio and you can book a meeting or one-time workshop with her for different types of groups.
The studio is open every Tuesday and Wednesday and you are welcome to visit, make creations and pay per hour of work at the studio.
You can book a one-one-one workshop, private, group or family workshops guided by Dalit, and make a wall, statue, furniture or decorative item for your home or garden.
Dalit Ben Shalom’s studio has become a social and creative meeting point for students coming to work there for the past 15 years.
