Chef Uri Tzur invites you to spend a day of pleasure and delicious flavors at his home on the mountain in the village of Matat. Come with your friends or family.
With the aid of his gentle alchemy, Uri Tzu turns the spotlight onto the individual flavors of the raw products that he uses.
Among the items on the menu are fermentations of different kinds, freshly gathered wild leaves, quality cheeses and olive oils suited to each course.
The meal is vegetarian and comprises 5 courses and dessert.
Wine from the wonderful Shevo Winery will accompany you along the way.
The cooking is both ancient and cutting edge, focusing on vegetables, the seasonal harvest and the locale.
The concept for this food comes from the heart and feelings, and is aimed at deepening connections and creating meaning.

Wild humat soup, cream of celeriac and “Ein Moda” cheese by Shirat Roim
Artisinal sourdough bread, “Rish La’kish” olive oil, and grape “dibs” (grape molasses)
Seasonal salad – crisp seasonal leaves in a locally produced honey vinaigrette and fermented kumquat, crunchy rye bread and “Emek Ha’Maayanot” cheese by Shirat Ro’im
Charcoal-roasted broccoli, preserved lime butter, a small salad of green apples, celeriac and mustard leaves.
“Cote de Cabbage” – cabbage steak in miso chickpea butter, cream, capsicum and white wine sauce, real French fries.
Citrus millefeuille and local bitter aperitif
