Monfort Lake, the first ecological park in Israel, is located near Ma’alot in the heart of the Western Galilee, surrounded by lawns and activity facilities. Families, groups and hikers can enjoy a variety of attractions, recreation and vacation for all ages.
On the eastern side of the lake, in view of a Galilean mountain landscape, is the camping parking. The parking lot is large and fenced and is intended for overnight stays for organized groups, school trips, youth movements and more. Various social activities can be held there. The site is open for families on holidays and weekends in the summer.
In the camping area of the lake you will find wide lawns, JNF tables, showers and toilets with hot water, and a kitchen equipped with refrigerators, gas, food preparation surfaces and sinks that allow for cooking on the compound. Chairs for each family. You can stay in a tent from home or rent a tent from the compound, with a reservation in advance. The parking area is bright and fenced and there is also a charging area for cell phones. Arrival by appointment only.
