Noor is a Druze bakery and café, established by Basma Henno in the heart of the Jullis village. Basma, an IDF war widow, created the café with her great faith and characteristic exuberance, naming it after her son Noor.
Noor offers a lavish Druze breakfast based on local flavors and served in traditional dishes. For breakfast there is an array of dishes including fatoush salad, hummus freshly prepared on the spot, baba ganoush salad, labaneh balls and Druze pita with a special filling, as well as the café’s special shakshouka. Druze breakfast is served until 13.00.
To round off your meal you can enjoy freshly brewed aromatic black coffee alongside knaffeh, ma’amulim or Basma’s other delicious pastries, and if you’re lucky, you can hear her personal story. Meals for groups or families may be ordered in advance and include a meeting with Basma who will share her personal story.
