Start the tour with a rich breakfast at the Alto Dairy – a boutique family dairy for rural goat cheeses in Kibbutz Shomrat.
Alto Dairy is a rural and family boutique dairy. Alto produces cheese from excellent Galilean goat’s milk using traditional methods of work found in rural areas in Europe. The focus is on health alongside rich gourmet cheese. Alto serves rich and tasty breakfasts and lunch.
The next stop is the Rosh HaNikra site and a descent to the steepest cable cars in the world.
Rosh Hanikra Reserve is located at the northern part of Israel’s Mediterranean Sea, with a steep cliff descending to the sea and a bay beach. The only point in Israel where the sea meets the mountains. A short walk at the heart of the cliff reveals the unique and beautiful grottos which are actually marine caves with changing colors throughout the day and seasons. The grottos are most beautiful during sunsets and storms.
From Rosh HaNikra, we will drive to the Tefen Industrial Area for a tour of the Malka boutique brewery, including a beer tasting.
Assaf Lavi opened Malka Brewery in 2006 out of love of nature and a passion to promote beer culture in Israel. In 2008 the brewery settled in kibbutz Yehiam overlooking the sea. Ever since, the brewery specializes in making ales the traditional way and in small amounts. The production process begins with using the highest quality raw materials and carries on with strict quality control and uncompromising finale product standards. Malka Beer Salon – the Salon was opened at the brewery’s new production hall. Here you can sit with friends, drink fresh beer and enjoy tasty food from the kitchen. Group visits and tours are also available.
And for the last stop of this trip – a visit to the Shtula Village on the Lebanese border, the “Talking Walls” project and a homemade, authentic Kurdish lunch made by Shula.
The first point on the trip is Shula from Shtula
