Fun & Delicious Salad – Aluma
Fennel, orange, hot pepper, za’atar (hyssop) and mozzarella salad recipe.
Ingredients:
(Serves 4 people)
- 3 medium size fennels
- 3 oranges (preferably blood oranges)
- 1 hot green pepper
- Fresh za’atar leaves (hyssop)
- 2 balls of mozzarella di buffalo
- Olive oil
- Fresh lemon juice
- Sea salt
Preparation:
1. Cut each fennel into 4 pieces.
2. Put some olive oil on top and put into a preheated oven (210 degrees Celsius) until the edges become slightly brown and then cool it.
3. Peel the oranges and slice them into 1 cm wide slices.
4. Slice the green hot pepper into thin slices.
5. After the fennel has cooled down. Take all of the other ingredients and lay on top of the fennels nicely.
6. The mozzarella needs to be hand sliced.
7. On top of this all, put the lemon juice, olive oil and sea salt.
