Chocolate Truffles – Courtesy of Tamar and Gefen in Mitzpe Hila
Ingredients:
- 450 grams of dark chocolate
- 250 mL of sweet cream
- Liqueur you like (chocolate liqueur recommended)
- Cocoa powder for rolling
Preparation:
- Break the chocolate into a heat-resistant bowl (glass or ceramic)
- Place the bowl in a smaller pot with water in it and heat it on the stove
- Add the sweet cream and stir until the chocolate is completely melted
- Remove from the heat and add a splash of liqueur
- Wrap in cling film and transfer to the refrigerator, preferably overnight
- Roll into balls and coat with cocoa
Can be kept in the freezer for a long time! Can be rolled in chopped almonds, coconut, etc.
