Stuffed Mushrooms – Tamar & Gefen
Ingredients:
- 8 large mushrooms that you can fill (Portobello/Champignon)
- 1 Large onion, chopped
- 50 grams of butter
- ½ cup of white wine
- 250 grams of sour cream
- Chopped parsley
- According to your own taste add hard cheeses (kashkaval, Gouda, Bulgarian, feta etc)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius
1. cut the leg of the mushroom and chop it.
2. Fry the onion in butter until it becomes slightly brown.
3. Add the white wine to the pan, add salt and black pepper.
4. Add the sour cream, stir, reduce the cream sauce and turn off the heat.
5. In a small bowl, mix the chopped mushrooms with chopped parsley or chives and the cheese mixture and fill the mushrooms.
6. Arrange the mushrooms in a hot resistant dish, pour the cream sauce over them and place in the oven for 20 – 30 minutes.
